PERSONAL LANDSCAPES

This series features nine macro images of my skin. For this project, I wanted to incorporate something more personal, so I used myself as the subject and focused on things that I usually try to hide or avoid. The images show close up views of scabs and scars cause by my struggle with Excoriation Disorder (skin picking). I didn't know it at the time but found out soon after that this is an actual thing that other people struggle with too. Kinda nice to have a name for it and know it's not just some weird thing only I do.
